1. Weight and strength selection
The RV sunshade is exposed to the outdoors for a long time. It is recommended to choose a high-density base fabric with a weight of 650-850g/㎡ and a size of 1000D × 1000D. Ensure that the tensile strength in the warp/weft direction is ≥ 2500N/5cm and the tear strength is ≥ 300N to resist strong winds and daily wear.
2. Waterproof and weather resistance verification
The hydrostatic pressure value must be checked ≥ 3000mmH ₂ O (ISO 811) to ensure that there is no leakage in rainstorm. Require UV resistance level ≥ 7 (ISO 105-B02), pass QUV 1000-2000 hour aging test to ensure long-term sun exposure without brittleness or fading.
3. Flame retardant and safety standards
Flame retardant is a safety requirement for RV camping scenes. It is recommended to choose DIN 4102 B1 level or NFPA 701 certified products, which can extinguish on fire. Confirm the temperature resistance range of -30 ℃ to+70 ℃, suitable for use in all seasons. The peel strength should be ≥ 80N/5cm to ensure that the joint does not crack for a long time.

Q: Can this motorhome awning replace the fabric to block the rainstorm in summer? Is the waterproof data reliable?
Answer: Absolutely possible. The measured waterproof grade is>200kPa (about 20000mmH ₂ O). After several rainstorm, the tarpaulin is completely dry under the tarpaulin, and there is no trace of water seepage on the surface.
Q: What are the UV resistance and weather resistance properties? Will long-term exposure to sunlight make it brittle?
