1. Weight and Thickness - Match Strength by Scene
It is recommended to use PVC tarpaulin with a thickness of 0.55mm or more and a weight of 500-610g/㎡ for commercial grade slides. The 0.55mm specification is the most commonly used specification for commercial inflatable facilities, with a tear strength of 441/388N in the warp/weft direction, sufficient to withstand frequent jumping and friction. Heavy materials with a weight of ≥ 700g/㎡ should be selected for impact areas such as slide entrances.
2. Mechanical properties - speak with data
Third party performance testing reports must be verified during procurement. Suppliers are required to provide the following core data: tensile strength (ISO 1421), tear strength (DIN 53363), and peel strength (DIN 53357). The standard reference values for commercial materials are: longitudinal tear ≥ 400N, peel strength ≥ 85N/5cm.
3. Flame retardant and weather resistant - dual guarantee of safety outdoors
