1. Match weight and thickness to use strength
Select the weight specification based on the application scenario. It is recommended to use 550-680g/㎡ (about 0.55mm) for conventional purposes such as outdoor tents, and 750-900g/㎡ or more for high-frequency use scenarios such as sunshades and heavy coverings. Products below 450g/㎡ have weak tear resistance and are not suitable for heavy-duty scenarios.
2. Mechanical strength and peel performance
Verify the 1000D × 1000D high-density polyester base fabric, with a tensile strength of ≥ 2500N/5cm and a tear strength of ≥ 300N. The peel strength should be ≥ 100N/5cm to ensure that the coating does not separate during repeated bending. Can be verified through DIN 53354/DIN 53363 test reports.
3. Flame retardant and weather resistant certification
Personnel intensive areas must pass EN 13501 Class B or NFPA 701 flame retardant certification and self extinguish upon leaving the fire. Confirm that the temperature resistance range covers -30 ℃ to+70 ℃, and verify the UV aging test report (≥ 1000 hours). Acrylic or PVDF surface treatment is recommended for smooth coating to enhance self-cleaning performance.
