1. Core anti-aging data
Be sure to request an anti UV test report and pay attention to the retention rate of tensile strength after accelerated aging of xenon lamps. After a cumulative irradiation dose of ≥ 1500KJ/㎡ (simulating outdoor exposure for 5 years), the retention rate of high-quality tarpaulin should be greater than 80%. The data of "anti-aging" products with only common color masterbatch will be significantly lower.
2. Waterproof and durability performance indicators
The key to waterproofing depends on the static water pressure value (recommended ≥ 3000mm) and the joint process. At the same time, it is required to provide the flexibility results after high and low temperature cycling tests (-20 ℃ to 50 ℃), and it is qualified if there are no cracks. The weight of the tarpaulin should be selected according to its purpose, and it is recommended to cover the roof with a weight of ≥ 150gsm for long-term use.
3. Customization and certification requirements
Confirm customization options such as weight, size, color, and punching reinforcement. Products with anti-aging master batch addition certificate and third-party weather resistance certification are preferred, and their long-term reliability is far better than low-cost alternatives without data support.

Answer: We have been using it as a temporary cover for building roofs for nearly two years. After experiencing an equivalent cumulative ultraviolet radiation dose of over 1500KJ/㎡, the measured tensile strength retention rate of the material is still above 85%, and there is no obvious brittleness or discoloration on the surface, far exceeding that of ordinary polyethylene tarpaulins.
Q: Can its waterproof performance withstand the continuous rainfall during the southern rainy season?
Answer: Absolutely possible. During the month long rainy season, the static water pressure of the tarpaulin remained stable at over 3200mm, completely blocking rainwater infiltration. Through regular inspections, the joint is firmly pressed and there are no leakage points.
