1. Weight and strength matching
The air column material is the core load-bearing structure of the tent and must meet strict mechanical indicators. According to the procurement technical requirements, the weight of the air column material should be ≥ 760g/㎡, the thickness should be ≥ 0.7mm, the fracture strength should be ≥ 2500N/5cm in the warp direction, and ≥ 2200N/5cm in the weft direction. High quality products available in the market, such as 1000D × 1000D specifications, have a fracture strength of up to 3500N/3300N/5cm and a peel strength of ≥ 130N/5cm to ensure that high-frequency heat sealing seams do not separate.
2. Requirements for airtightness and pressure retention
The working pressure should meet 15-25kPa, the air column pressure holding time should be ≥ 48 hours, and the self standing time for one inflation should be ≥ 7 days. The hydrostatic pressure must be ≥ 25kPa to ensure waterproof sealing.
3. Weather resistance and safety certification
The temperature resistance range should cover -30 ℃ to+70 ℃, and the -50 ℃ specification can be selected for high-altitude areas. The flame retardant performance requires a continuous burning time of ≤ 5 seconds. Wind resistance level ≥ 8. Verify third-party testing reports before bulk procurement.

Q: Can this customized inflatable cloth really last a night without collapsing when used in tents due to large temperature differences at night?
Answer: The actual test shows that it can withstand quite well. We camped on the dam in October, and the temperature dropped sharply by more than ten degrees at night. In the morning, the air column was still strong and the pressure was stable. There is almost no pressure drop within 24 hours, which is the value of high peel strength (≥ 130N/5cm) and high-frequency heat sealing process. The seams are tightly sealed and will not slowly deflate due to temperature fluctuations.
Q: Does the wind shake strongly when it blows? What is the wind resistance?
Answer: Not at all. On May Day, we went to the beach and in the middle of the night, there was a strong wind of seven or eight levels. The pole of the traditional tent next to us creaked, and our tent cloth trembled slightly. The air column itself was as stable as a rock. This relies on a high weight base fabric of 760g/㎡ or more, a thickness of 0.7mm, and a fracture strength of ≥ 2500N/5cm for the air column. It is a completely lightweight rigid structure that cannot be shaken by ordinary small winds.
Q: Will there be water leakage at the joint when it keeps raining? Will it swell up?
Answer: No water leaks. Once it rained rainstorm the next day and night. When I got up in the morning, the bottom of the tent was dry and bright, and there was no water stain at the joints of high-frequency welding. The hydrostatic pressure ≥ 9000mm is almost a hard shell, and the air column itself is waterproof, both inside and outside, which is more than enough to cope with conventional rainstorm.
