1. Match the weight and thickness of the swimming pool type
Select specifications based on pool type: 1500-1850g/㎡ is recommended for above ground pools, and ≥ 1875g/㎡ (thickness ≥ 1.5mm) is required for underground pools to comply with EN 15836 standards. High quality products such as 1000D base fabric with a specification of 650g/㎡ have a tensile strength of 2826/2371N/5cm in the warp/weft direction.
2. Core mechanical performance verification
Require a tear strength of ≥ 400N (DIN 53363) and a peel strength of ≥ 100N/5cm to ensure that high-frequency welding joints remain intact even after prolonged immersion in water. If used for underground swimming pools, the nominal thickness must be ≥ 0.75mm (homogeneous membrane) or ≥ 1.5mm (reinforced membrane).
3. Environmental and safety certification
Children's exposure scenarios must verify EN71-3, RoHS, and REACH certifications to ensure that the total concentration of heavy metals such as lead and cadmium is ≤ 100mg/kg. Before bulk procurement, the fabric was sampled and tested for tear resistance and environmental protection indicators.
