1. Weight and strength matching
Choose the appropriate weight and fabric density based on the usage scenario:
Inflatable boat/fish pond: Choose 650-850g/㎡, 1000D × 1000D base fabric, tear strength ≥ 350N
Inflatable tent/castle: Choose 850-1100g/㎡, 900-1100gsm is preferred, tear strength ≥ 500N
Products below 600g/㎡ have insufficient pressure bearing capacity and are prone to deformation and damage when inflated.
2. Core indicators of airtightness and waterproofing
It is necessary to verify that the joint peel strength is ≥ 130N/5cm (DIN 53357) to ensure that the high-frequency welding seam does not separate during high-frequency inflation and deflation. Require a hydrostatic pressure of ≥ 9000mmH ₂ O to achieve complete waterproof sealing. The working pressure should meet 15-25kPa, and the pressure holding time of the gas column should be ≥ 48 hours.
3. Weather resistance and safety certification
Confirm that the temperature resistance range covers -30 ℃ to+70 ℃, and the -40 ℃ specification can be selected for high-altitude areas. Personnel intensive areas (inflatable castles) require B1 level flame retardant certification (EN 13501 or DIN 4102) and self extinguishing upon ignition. Require REACH and RoHS environmental certifications to ensure the safety of children's contact.

Q: How long can this PVC fabric hold up at the seams when used on inflatable castles?
Answer: I have been using it for more than half a year, inflating and deflating it every day, and the weld seam has not opened at all. The material has high peel strength, and the joint after high-frequency welding is even stronger than the base cloth.
